Subscription & Billing Policy

This Subscription & Billing Policy explains how recurring payments work for Virtuora Learning learning support subscriptions and any other recurring plans, including how you are charged, how renewals and cancellations operate, and how price changes are handled. It supplements our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

01Subscriptions covered by this policy

Virtuora Learning provides online educational content, training programs, and digital resources designed to support professional development and practical skills. Our learning support is offered on a recurring subscription basis, starting from $49 per month, and provides ongoing guidance and assistance to learners. This policy also applies to any other recurring plan we may offer. One-time purchases of individual courses, programs, and resources are not subscriptions and are governed by our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

02How subscriptions work

When you start a subscription, you select a plan and provide a valid payment method. Your subscription begins immediately upon successful payment and continues for successive billing periods until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us, or our payment processor, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

03Billing cycle and charges

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the billing period of your plan, which is monthly unless stated otherwise. The amount charged includes the plan fee shown at the time you subscribe, plus any applicable taxes.

  • Your first charge is taken when you start the subscription.
  • Each subsequent charge is taken automatically at the start of the next billing period.
  • The billing date is based on the date your subscription started and may adjust for months of differing lengths.

04Automatic renewal

To avoid interruption to your access, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan. You acknowledge and agree that your subscription will continue and renew automatically unless and until you cancel it or we terminate it.

05Payment methods and authorization

You agree to keep your payment information accurate and up to date. We may store a token representing your payment method with our payment processor to enable recurring billing; full card numbers are handled by the processor and are not stored on our systems. You authorize us to charge any payment method on file if your primary method fails.

06Failed payments

If a scheduled payment fails, we may retry the charge over a short period and notify you so that you can update your payment details. If payment cannot be collected, we may suspend or downgrade your access until the outstanding amount is paid. Continued non-payment may result in cancellation of the subscription.

07Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us using the details at the end of this policy. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

  • When you cancel, you will continue to have access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for.
  • You will not be charged for any further billing periods after cancellation.
  • Cancellation stops automatic renewal; it does not, by itself, generate a refund of fees already charged.

08Refunds for subscriptions

Fees for the current billing period are generally non-refundable, and you retain access until the end of that period. We may provide a refund or credit at our discretion, for example in the case of a clear billing error or a service failure on our part. This section operates together with our Refund Policy, and nothing in it limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

09Price changes

We may change subscription prices and the features included in a plan. Where we increase the price of your subscription, we will give you advance notice before the change applies to a renewal. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect. Continuing your subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

10Free trials and promotional offers

If we offer a free trial or promotional rate, the specific terms, including the trial length and the price that applies afterward, will be disclosed at sign-up. Unless you cancel before the trial or promotional period ends, your subscription will automatically continue at the standard price, and the recurring billing terms in this policy will apply.

11Changes to your plan

Where multiple plans are available, you may be able to upgrade or downgrade your subscription. Upgrades generally take effect promptly, and any difference in price may be applied at the next billing date or on a pro-rata basis where indicated. Downgrades typically take effect at the start of the next billing period.

12Taxes

Prices may be exclusive of taxes. Where we are required to collect sales tax or other applicable taxes, these will be added to your charge based on your billing location and shown at checkout or on your receipt.

13Receipts and records

We provide a receipt for each successful charge to the email address associated with your account. We encourage you to retain these receipts for your records. You can also review your billing history and current plan in your account.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this Subscription & Billing Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of a subscription after the changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
